Several users, including myself, had problems login into the chat last Thursday night. These problems seemed to be server related. The site kept coming back saying "You must be logged in the forums"... Can DJ shed some light into this.... Even David Hebel said that some work might be done this week to get it out of Beta.... Any updates? I knew that I stayed away last Thursday for a reason. I know that this is not a priority but it would really nice if we could chat a little easier. I just noticed that I cannot access the chat site anymore using Safari. I can still access using Firefox though but it does have issues. JP, any word on any enhancements to the chat site. Speaking of last nights chat, we had to move it to a different room because people couldn't get logged in, me being one I tried with Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer and couldn't get in. For the people that didn't join in last night, Dave gave us the inside scoop on some new products coming out. At first: Weekends, as I don't always have my notebook at my apartement during weekdays. Exception would be holidays, but then you most probably don't know when we have one of our many holidays ( ). Due to the large time shift I wouldn't really mind if it would be around Midnight here. Maybe we could schedule a chat every once in while at such a time. _____________________________ Michael Lt. Michael, As I've posted before, I think a weekend chat would be best; perhaps even early afternoon which would give the west coast folks a chance to overcome their excesses of Friday night. For the most part, I know that most of these young men and women have families to shepherd and I will never fault them for that. I expect you to be in the same boat. I would have gladly chatted with you otherwise on the weekend, but it is clearly evident that your knowledge is lightyears ahead of mine. It would be a hollow chat with information flowing in one direction. It would be best if Matt and Graham were present as well as that easy-going, Martyr-loving Fred (whom I expect to be a hardnose when it comes to delivery of product). I would love to hear your perceptions on the market in your area. From a DJ perspective; the trends that are working and those that don't seem to do so well. In short, everything you know about the demographics in your area. Another thought would be to do a weekend late morning chat here on the East Coast (11-Noon) and then MikeM could join us. You are about 8 hours ahead in Germany making it 8 PM? Noon would make it 9 AM on the west cost.

Billy, you are far too modest  . Due to my interest in these matters I read alot about these kinda stuff (books, www, ...). And I have some time to experiment. But I really doubt my knowledge is anywhere near lightyears ahead of yours. There's definitely one thing you - and many of the other regulars - are ahead of me: experience. And that's one of the reasons I like to be around here - there's alot to learn from you guys.
