Hello! I am new to Adobe Premiere Pro and i would like to know details to create animated title or text as the DJTV Take 5: Making Moving Messages season 2 Episode 203 by Rick Green. Anyone can give their tutorial/ideas (templates will do) is a big help and appreciated.

I think a lot of those titles were made using a program like After Effects. I started out using Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 and was glad I ran into After Effects concerning title work. You can still do some cool stuff with Premiere Pro, but it's text editor is limited in capabilities (And for Final Cut, you have Motion and LiveType). If all you have is Premiere Pro, you need to create your text layers in the titler and then animate them in the timeline with the Effects tab using keyframes. Here is a tutorial from Creative Cow-- you might search on their Premiere Pro forum for titling... http://library.creativecow.net/articles/barrie_jon/custom_titles/video-tutorial.php You could also check out Lynda.com-- For $25/month you can learn a lot in a month about lots of different programs.
