Are there any DJTV trainings or threads in here laying out the volume levels that are the standards for background music and sound effects while speaking on camera? thanks |

I would think this is different for each music track and sound clip. Put on a set of headphones and do the major adjustments there to each one - Then play it on your speakers to make final adjustments if necessary.

It indeed depends on the material. But I wouldn't really mix with headphones, as that sounds very different from loadspeakers. It can be helpful to check a mix with headphones additionally, but the mix itself should be done with loudspeaker monitors.
