Ever informative, entertaining & 100% reusable on every project. Should just call these shows "post-it's" and keep reminding ourselves to adhere to the basics. loved the show!

Thanks, Jeff. I certainly learned some excellent tips that I will apply the next time around when I encounter these types of problems. I especially enjoyed the section on matching different recordings to make them sound more alike.

Audio can be my weakness and you've given me great insight into fixing problems that I thought I couldn't fix without much ado; so thanks and keep these coming as I can always use more help with audio....

Great tips. I'm taking an Audio Production class at our local community college. All of your tips are making more sense and re-enforcing what our instructor is teaching us. thanks

Great show! I am into audio restoring myself, and just recently entered the video arena. There is so much to learn! Still, I agree with the guy that wrote that you should introduce yourself in the show --I actually don't know what your name is. (this is my fist dive into DJTV). "Gracias" from Mexico!!

Certainly enjoyed this. I have found with plosives that if I highlight the area and then take a 1-band EQ and filter the low-end quite a bit it comes out sweet.

It was a great reminder for me to record some background noise ambience when shooting video...I sometimes forget that and it bites me later!!

I always enjoy your very useful tips and I don't miss an episode...thanks for taking time to do this on our behalf!

Great info. BTW Don't forget the Soundtrack Pro has the Match EQ filter built in to automatically analyze a recording and create an EQ setting for matching. It saves lots of time, though you still need to add some kind of reverb to polish it off in most cases.

Jeff...helping to take the buzz out of audio!

Good solid audio tips. In addition to plosives, de-"S"ing is another audio issue often seen and worth mentioning/addressing.

Wow! Some tips I've been looking for to fix the mix. I am extremely careful to get the best audio possible, but things happen. It's nice to see how to use some of the tools I've got a little better.

A VERY BIG THANK YOU!!

Yes, the flourescent light "devil" was something I encountered for a shoot and was a major headache to fix.... I pay much closer attention to things like that now. Plosives are the next worst enemy.

One thing I wish you would do with your episodes is, to put some text in the lower third of the shot every time you show yourself using software, with text telling us what software program you are using at that point in the clip. You mention software options here and there, but I am never sure if that is the one you used for your on-screen editing shots, so it throws me off a bit trying to figure out if you were using the software I have, or if it was another one.....(This is just something that bugs me and it's my preference. Not sure if you have legal limitations as to naming products on-screen or not during your episodes.)

Also, I think you should put your name in the Audio Buzz intro, kind of like Rick does with his. New visitors might want to know.
