Thanks for breaking down a scene into its constituent parts and then showing us how to put it all together. Inspirational and this may have helped break a creative block that's been hanging over me on my current project!

anyone else have problems with the iPod version of this video?
it causes QT Player, VLC, and Miro (Democracy) to crash
right at the 00:04:13 mark. I will download one of the others
(Medium, Large) and see if it plays through.
(My rating is based on what I did get to see.)

I "detail" explanations in the lesson which gives more understanding on what you are really saying. so it's very nice. waiting for some more tricks.

This clip really helped me begin to understand how to use all of the elements. I wondered how you could blend a foreground image without using chromakey, and I found out in a matter of seconds. More doughnuts !!!!

Wow! It's amazing what can be done by simply combining several "off the shelf" items, rather than trying to re-invent the wheel from scratch.

Tons of valuable information here - in fact probably too much information covered too quickly to pick up in just one or two viewings - but since I can watch it over and over again, I'm sure I'll be able to master these techniques.

Thanks Chris! Thanks Digital Juice!

Excellent tutorial on masks and composites. It’s easy to see why you are known as “Ace”. What intrigued me the most, however, was the writing on the blackboard? Le Voyage dans la lune….
