Digital Juice Drag & Drop is an exciting new series of clip-based visual effects that take all the drudgery out of the creative process while letting you, as the designer, focus on what really matters -- getting a great look that complements your footage! By simply dragging any of these effects clips on top of your footage with an appropriate blend mode, you can elevate your footage from the mundane to the sublime, raising the production value of your project instantly, and making you look like an editing genius in seconds. Building on the information provided in the other Drag & Drop Getting Started videos from Jon Walker, in this Getting Started video, Kevin P. McAuliffe introduces Avid Media Composer users to this new product line. He walks you through the process of previewing and importing the Drag & Drop clips into Media Composer with the correct settings for your project, as well as giving you some valuable tips and tricks for organizing and working with your new media. He then shows you how to quickly and easily apply the effects clips to your footage to create unique and interesting looks while explaining how to streamline the use of built-in Avid FX or Boris Continuum Complete effects to get the best and fastest results.
